Motorised Blackout Blinds — built to stop light leaks.

100% blackout system designed around the whole window, not just the fabric. Cordless, motorised, rechargeable. Made in Australia.

Pelmet, side tracks + sealed bottom rail

Cordless and child-safe

USB-C rechargeable

16-channel remote included

Where standard motorised blinds leak light

Every standard motorised roller blind has four edges where light gets around the fabric. The MAB frame is designed to close those edges.

Top edge

The roller mechanism sits in brackets, with a gap between the fabric and the wall above. The MAB pelmet covers this gap.

Left edge

Standard rollers don’t have side channels. The MAB side track runs the full height of the window, sealed against the reveal.

Right edge

Same as the left. Two side tracks lock the fabric edges so no light comes around the sides.

Bottom edge

Standard rollers have a small gap between the bottom rail and the windowsill. The MAB sealed bottom rail closes it.

A darker room starts with a better blind system

Traditional motorised blinds reduce light but still leave gaps around the edges. The MAB framed system closes all four edges with side tracks, a top pelmet and a sealed bottom rail.

The result is a room that actually goes dark — day or night.

FAQ

Are these really 100% blackout?
The MAB framed system is designed to reduce light leaks at the four edges around the window — top, sides, bottom — where standard motorised blinds leave gaps. On a properly measured window, the result is a much darker room than any standard motorised blind delivers.
USB-C charging cable included. Top-up each change of season as a habit. No electrician, no hardwiring, no power point needed near the blind.
Designed for bedroom use — quiet enough to operate without disturbing nearby sleep. If noise level is a particular concern (for example, a baby’s nursery), mention it at the measure and quote.
A 16-channel wireless remote ships with every motorised system. Operate up to 16 MAB blinds from one handset. Range is around 30 metres in a typical home.
Yes, with the MAB SmartHub. SmartHub is a small Wi-Fi bridge that connects your blinds to your home network for app and voice control via Google Home, Alexa and Amazon Home.
No. The motor runs on a rechargeable battery, charged via USB-C. No hardwiring required for any MAB motorised system.
